Former MUP member speaks about crimes committed in Kosovo

(RTK1)

The ones believed to have committed crimes against Albanians have started to denounce them. Former Serbian police officer Slobodan Stojanovic is one of them. He has decided not to hide what he has seen during the war in Kosovo. In an interview with Radio and Television of Kosovo, Stojanovic spoke about the crimes committed.

Many killings committed against the Albanian civilian population, burning of houses, looting of property during the last war in 1999 by Serbian Police and Army are also testified by those that took part in Serbian military and police operations. Slobodan Stojanovic is one of the members of Serbian Ministry of Interior (MUP) members in Kosovo war, who spoke about these events exclusively for RTK.

“Anyone could be killed during 1999, even in the street. Anyone could fire with arms, to throw bombs, but we were deceived. We did not know that we were heading to a small war. As a matter of fact, it was a real war. I am speaking about August, September and partially October of 1998,” Stojanovic said.

Stojanovic said that there is no place in Kosovo that they did not fight, and that civilian population were the ones that suffered the most.

Stojanovic gave RTK several exclusive photos of two Albanian young men who are seen as wounded by his colleagues.

“We were 150 police officers in the unit. Out of these 150 officers, ten were known for lootings, killings, massacres that I could not imagine. We did not consume drugs or alcohol, but I believe that desire for money or getting rich overnight was in question,” Stojanovic stated.

Although these histories might have consequences for Serbia, Slobodan Stojanovic has decided to make them public.

KACA: Mayor Bahtiri is not in conflict of interest

(All monitored broadcasters, KTV)

The Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency (KACA) considers that there is no conflict of interest between Mitrovicë/Mitrovica mayor Agim Bahtiri and the “Mushroom Park LC” company regarding the use of public property, where a mushroom factory was planned to be built.

The reason why the Agency dealt with this case was because the owner of Mushroom Park LC” company co-owns another private business with Mayor Bahtiri. However, in its decision KACA said that the approval for use public private property is given by the Municipal Assembly.

Fajon engages for introduction of visa free regime for Kosovars

(TV21)

Slovenian MP of the European Parliament, Tanja Fajon, says that she engages actively for introduction of visa free regime for Kosovo citizens, who have remained the last ones obliged to get visas.

In an interview with Serbian daily Politika, EUMP Fajon said that besides being able to move freely, for Kosovo citizens this would also mean that there would be less human trafficking, less trade with forge documents, and other illegal actions.
