Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, on Thursday met with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini. Thaci and Mogherini discussed Kosovo’s progress on the European Union journey. “We discussed the need to continue with the Pristina – Belgrade dialogue and implementation of the agreements reached so far, the establishment of the special court and Kosovo’s success in organizing the Conference of the Western Balkans,” Thaci wrote on his Facebook page. “Kosovo was confirmed as a promoter of peace and cooperation in the Balkans and these results should be crowned with the signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) before summer, and visa liberalization for Kosovo within this year.”
