The paper’s deputy editor-in-chief Lavdim Hamidi writes that on the first 100 days of the Kosovo government, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa will probably not prefer to present his cabinet’s work using figures as these are not something to be proud of for someone who has a PhD in economics, like Mustafa. However, Mustafa has to mention the fact that during his term in office, 100,000 people migrated from Kosovo. And while Mustafa can try to justify the migrations by saying that it happened as a result of accumulation of frustration during the last government when his party, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), was in opposition, he agreed to join the coalition with the party he criticized for corruption and mismanagement, Hashim Thaci’s Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).  Mustafa would also have to report how his foreign minister Thaci failed to bring any new recognition of Kosovo’s independence during the 100 days in office. “The head of the government could speak before Kosovo Assembly MPS about successes over the first 100 days only if he were to report about them today, on April’s Fool day,” concludes Hamidi.
