Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz visited Polish peacekeepers in Kosovo on Thursday.
The prime minister, accompanied by Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak and Interior Minister Teresa Piotrowska, had an Easter breakfast with 230 Polish soldiers and policemen serving in one of the world’s youngest states.
The visit does not include meetings with Kosovar or Serb politicians.
Kopacz will meet General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, the head of the international mission to Kosovo and other officers.
Kopacz said defence is one of her government’s priorities.
“A strong military is the foundation of security,” she told journalists.
