Employees of the Ski Centre Brezovica held a protest rally in front of the Štrpce/Shtërpce Municipality at 10 hours. At the same time in the municipal building is a session where the investment plan of the French consortium will be presented to the councillors and citizens.
Director of Ski Centre Brezovica Slađan Nikolcevic confirmed that a group of workers is holding a protest because of disagreements with the announced concession of Brezovica Ski centre. “We protest because we don’t agree with the master plan for the Ski Center Brezovica”.
Nikolčević said that he will try to participate in today’s meeting, in which will be presented the master plan for the development of the Ski centre, if representatives of municipality Štrpce/Shtërpce allow him.
As announced, Kosovo Government should sign a contract with the French-Andorran consortium MD Consulting about the development of Brezovica Ski centre. “We have learned through the media that contract will be signed today. Still I hope that the Municipal Assembly deputies will be able to vote and that this bad master plan will be rejected until the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO). Then we can discuss the privatization of the Ski Centre Brezovica,” said Nikolcevic.
Former President of Štrpce/Shtërpce municipality Zvonko Mihajlovic joined the protest of employees of Ski Centre Brezovica.
