President of the provisional organ of the municipality of Mitrovica North Aleksandar Spiric said today that the workers of this municipality will not lose their jobs. “In regards to the unnecessary confusion of the citizens and employees I have to emphasize that the employees of the municipal administration, as well as workers who are indirect beneficiaries of the municipality of Mitrovica North will not lose their jobs. With this move we will strengthen the institutions and will be able to work for the benefit and livelihoods of citizens of Mitrovica North,” stressed Spirić.
At the press conference Spirić said that the major problem is unemployment and that the local government is trying to solve this problem through public works: “All projects that are budgeted for 2015 in cooperation with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the Serbian government will be continued,” said Spirić.
He added that every dollar invested in the area of Mitrovica North is properly distributed. The progress is evidenced, not only in the streets of Kosovska Mitrovica but also in the institutions where are applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia.
