Establishment of the Association/Community of Serbs municipalities will be voted in the parliament and because of that we don’t know the date of its creation, said Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtić.
“We can’t talk about the dates at this moment, since it is about the process which implies procedure in the parliament for amendment of the Constitution of Kosovo. However, it is important that the process will finally start,” said Jevtić to Vesti.
When it comes to the issue of return and security guarantees Jevtić assessed that approach should change in future, and added that support of other Kosovo institutions in the previous period was missing.
He said that Ministry for Communities and Return was not able to deal with all issues with regards to return, such as security and usurpation of property, and added that it is important to create inter-ministerial groups which will improve efficiency and share responsibility.
With regards to privatization process Jevtić said that this process won’t be carried out any more in settlements with Serb majority without consent of the local self-governments
