Abduction attempt of a nine-year old girl from Babin Most (RTK2)

Unknown persons attempted to kidnap a nine-year old girl of Serbian nationality in village Babin Most, Obilić/Obilliq Municipality, said representative of the provisional body of Obilić/Obilliq Municipality (Serbian administration), Nenad Denić.

Denić said that incident occurred on 30 April at the junction in that village, when the girl was on her way to school, and added that the case was reported to Kosovo Police and KFOR. He explained that abduction of the girl was attempted by two persons who used a black SUV without registration plates. Abduction was prevented by an elderly Albanian resident who heard the girl screaming and started to yell on kidnappers, after what they run away.

Residents of village Bamin Most said that few days before the abduction attempt, unknown persons were spotted while making pictures of the elementary school. Babim Most is a mixed village populated by some 800 Kosovo Serbs and 200 Kosovo Albanians.
