The government of Kosovo on Wednesday approved the package of draft laws for the justice system in Kosovo, including changes that are expected to occur in the Judicial Council, Prosecutorial Council, State Prosecution and courts. Kosovo’s Justice Minister, Hajredin Kuci, said that the approval of this package is of particular importance, since it is also about the criteria required by the European Union for the visa liberalization process. He also said that the fulfillment of these criteria become a more complete harmonization of the justice system in Kosovo, and contribute in a greater independence of the system.
Also Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said that the implementation of these criteria remain a priority for the government of Kosovo.
