During his visit to RTK2, US Ambassador in Kosovo Tracey Ann Jacobson said that for Kosovo is very important to have a public broadcaster in the Serbian language. She expressed her satisfaction that the RTK2, in less than two years of functioning, managed to meet the needs of program content, specified by the law on RTK.
“I know that RTK2 broadcasted nearly 4,000 TV reports and had 1,200 guests. In particular, I congratulate on the diversity of guests, not only in terms of ethnicity, but also the representation of different profiles, from president to the sportsmen. It confirms that the government meets its obligations towards the members of all communities,” she said.
The director of the channel in Serbian language Zarko Joksimovic stressed that this channel used the opportunity and in addition to the daily informative programs offers a number of documentary products, including those involved in the preservation of culture, spirituality and identity of Serbian, but also other communities in Kosovo.
