Motives of armed group which clashed with the Macedonian police are not yet known, and the moment in which the conflict happened is suitable for people who like “wild goose chase”, says an analyst from Skopje, Saso Ordanoski. “They see the escalation of the situation through multi-ethnic grounds, in order to avoid possible political responsibility for some criminal activities that were done. We do not even know the details about the whole situation, we do not even have information where the other terrorists are, and we do not know how many civilians were killed during the operation. The whole situation is tense. The motives of the group are unknown, and it is not known who paid the armed group. ”
Police allowed the citizens from Kumanovo area Diva to visit their homes. Some houses in the village were nearly destroyed. FYROM government promised the citizens that it will help them for the renovation. Due to days of mourning, the opposition did not continue the protests in Skopje, and citizens lit the candles for the murdered police officers, in front of the government building.

Because of the conflict in Kumanovo, during the previous days on social networks prevailed a hate speech, but, according to the NGO activist Xhabir Deralla the unity of the people of FYROM will not be significantly affected. “I think that interethnic relations after this conflict are very good, one can feel the unity. At least it seems to me that the spirit of reconciliation and resistance towards the government isprevailing,” says Xhabir Deralla from NGO Civil- Center for Freedom.
