Advisor to the President of the Serbia, Stanislava Pak said today that agreement will be reached on a platform of the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Kosovo, and that the limit below which the president is not going to go is the recognition of Kosovo.
Pak said that and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has positively assessed the platform and he has confidence in Nikolic, who has written a platform primarily because at some point agreement on normalization expects Serbia and “Serbia strategically is planning the approach to the event which awaits us”.
“We want to achieve what is a minimum, which we can accept by the Constitution. Whether this is realistic or not, time will tell,” said Pak in the morning program of TV Pink.
Pak has estimated that it was responsible behaviour, because the Albanian side for centuries has a strategy and a plan on how to achieve a “Greater Albania” and that Serbia should have a plan of what she wants in relations with the Albanian side in Kosovo.
“The Brussels agreement is not something that completely solves this situation, and it is in fact about a final resolution of our relations regarding Kosovo and Metohija,” added Pak.
Pak said that she had not seen the platform and that President Nikolic will discuss it with the Prime Minister Vucic, and that the intention is to help the government, that there is a framework in which the government would talk with the Albanian side.
“The platform is prone to changes and upgrades, up to the limit below which the president will not go, and that’s recognition of Kosovo and Metohija,” she said.
