The Prime Minister of Albania, stated at the press conference after his meeting with Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, that Albanians in the south of Serbia deserve to have the same treatment as Serbs in northern Kosovo. “I believe that this is in the spirit of our joint effort to achieve on the relations of the region with the power of example and not with the example of power. I have never heard about any complaint from Serbs who live in Albania. I want to say with pride that wherever the Albanians have the possibility, be it in Albania or in Kosovo, they have guaranteed spectacular treatment for the minorities.” Rama said.
Media also report on Vucic’s statement that they have contradictory positions on Kosovo with Rama. He stated that Kosovo is a Serbian territory. Rama on the other hand, is quoted as saying that recognition of Kosovo would have been a major relief for Serbia.
