“In order to sue Serbia, Kosovo would have to be a member of the United Nations and the Statute of the International Court of Justice,” said renowned professor of the international law Tibor Varadi, who represented Serbia in the genocide lawsuit of Bosnia and Herzegovina against it.
At this moment Pristina has no legal grounds to sue Serbia for genocide with the International Court of Justice, as announced by the Kosovo Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci, said Varadi and assessed that it is highly unlikely that this would change in the near future.
