Following the creation of the inter-ministerial group for return, chaired by the Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic, establishment of another one has been announced that will deal with the representation of non-majority communities in public institutions and companies, and will be chaired by the Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic.

“It will be about the new inter-ministerial group that will deal with the representation of the non-majority communities and Serbs in the institutions,” said Stojanovic and added that this group is considered to be very important as a tool that will make pressure on the system aiming at fulfilling legal obligations when it comes to employment of non-majority communities.

Stojanovic added that reaching of the 10 per cent employment representation of non-majority communities in Kosovo public institutions and companies is even more important than filling out the vacant posts in the ministries.

“The Serbian List works together with the coalition partners on matters referring to the appointment of the deputy ministers and the director of the Office for Communities, and I believe that we will appoint them in next couple weeks,” said Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic.
