Most law students from the University of Kragujevac, Novi Sad, Nis and Novi Pazar considered that there is no need to revise stance on Kosovo’s position within the text of the constitutional preamble.

In a survey conducted by the Regional Association of Lawyers “Sumadija” from Kragujevac, through an anonymous online survey, the majority of students, 67 per cent, believed that the text of the preamble of the Constitution of Serbia should indicate that Kosovo is part of Serbia, while 33 per cent think the opposite.

The interviewer, says, did not cover the issue of amendments to the text of preamble with new attitudes, such as, for example, positions on European integration and European values, the rule of law, human rights and the like. The survey covered the conditions of the election of the President of the Republic, the number of ministries, the adequate representation of ethnic minorities and parts of the territory of Serbia.

Nearly 80 per cent of surveyed law students showed distrust over the election of judges to the state parliament, opting for special, an independent body made up of judges who would be responsible for the election of judges.
