Director of the Serbian Government Office for Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic said that the Brussels talks lack the results, because Pristina side does not need agreement. He added that he expected greater Western pressure on Pristina side, stressing that this outcome of the talks suits only to the extremists, who are a part of the Kosovo political scene.
Director of the Serbian Government Office for Cooperation with the media pointed out that the Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) is the theme that dominates for months. The topic was agreed in Brussel, but Pristina is obstructing implementation of that agreement for two years.
ZSO is the key to all political issues when it comes to the Serbian community in Kosovo and Metohija. Mihajlovic said that it is not the body that will deal only with the Kosovo north, but all municipalities where Serbs live, whether they are majority or minority.
For Serbia, the Brussels dialogue is possibility to reach agreement, lasting peace in the Balkans, which would be crowned with the historical reconciliation between Serbs and Albanians, while for the Kosovo side, the Brussels agreement is ballast, said Mihajlovic.
