(All monitored broadcasters, TV21)

“Kosovo delegation was fair and constructive aiming at finding a solution within the constitutional and legal framework of Kosovo. On the other hand the Serbian delegation is insisting that the Association should have some competencies which are part of central and local institutions, and people who work in this Association be considered as state employees,” Mustafa wrote in his personal Facebook account.

On the other hand, Vetëvendosje chairperson Visar Ymeri, through his Facebook account, reacted to the statement of Kosovo PM. He said that Mustafa wants to prepare the people about the compromise over the Association.

‘Mustafa should understand that the partition of Kosovo through the Association is unacceptable’, concluded Ymeri.

KJC and EULEX interview the candidates for judges in the north

(Klan Kosova)

Serb Judges that have worked in the parallel structures are being interviewed in order to be engaged in Kosovo’s justice system. They are being interviewed by three members of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC) and two EULEX judges, Klan Kosova reports.

However, the 48 vacant positions cannot be filled through this call because the number of candidates that applied is less than the announced vacant positions. Meanwhile, over 30 candidates did not meet the required conditions and have been rejected.

Whereas those candidates that are still in the race for the vacancies, cannot join Kosovo’s justice system if they don’t have the necessary knowledge about it.

KJC chairperson Enver Peci said that interviews will be conducted accordingly to KJC’s regulations and that the candidates will have to answer to professional questions. He said that KJC has achieved to verify the history of the candidates in the vast majority of the cases.

According to Peci, the new judges will begin their work in the beginning of September.

The entire process is being done in line with the justice agreement reached by Prishtinë/Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels.
