The Orthodox Church of St. Petka in the village Drsnik near Klina/Kline was again burglarized and looted this morning. It is the second attack on the church in the past 48 hours. Previously, the money from the church was stolen, and icons were destroyed because they were thrown on the floor.

Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic again appealed to the authorities to deal with this issue, secure this sacred place and take care of the security of Serbian returnees in Drsnik village. “Obviously, we have a group of people whose intentions are to intimidate our returnees in Klina municipality,” said Jevtic to the reporters.

Jevtic said that he spoke about the last incidents with the Police representatives in Klina / Kline and that he expects their report.

He also said that at the next meeting of the inter-ministerial group, he will ask the Minister of Internal Affairs Skender Hyseni to submit a detailed report on all the latest attacks on Serbian returnees and their property in Klina / Kline municipality.
