The chairperson of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanovic stated that the latest serious attack on a Serb young man in Klokot/Kllokot is a clear message that some in Kosovo and Metohija are bothered with Serbian youngsters who blossom here more than in Serbia proper, despite all hardship and troubles in the enclaves.

“Young must not be handicapped and suffocated in blood and terror by those who think they are above the law and humanity,” said Jablanovic in a statement forwarded to Tanjug on behalf of the Serbian List.

“I call on EULEX, KFOR, the prime minister and Kosovo government to react to this attack by ordering all relevant security structures to solve this case, and many others in the previous period, in order that our relations and work on reconciliation, which was already burdened with many issues, would not be burdened with new innocent victims,” said Jablanovic.

Jablanovic stressed that it is impossible, in Kosovo with 14.000 thousand police officers, for anyone to say that perpetrators can’t be found.

Serbian young man Milos Stevic (23) was stubbed by several Kosovo Albanians on Saturday in Klokot/Kllokot. He was admitted to a hospital in Gracanica and his condition is currently stable.

Serb representatives in Kosovo institutions have requested immediate launch of investigation and bringing of perpetrators to justice.
