Representatives of the Association of Families of Missing and Kidnapped Persons from Kosovo and Methohija were assured today by the Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor  that investigation of a location near Đakovica/Gjakovë which was alleged as the one with remains of missing Serbs, would start in the course of this or next week.

“We were promised that investigation and excavation will start,” said chairperson of the Association Simo Spasic after meeting the War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic and his associates. He further said that families of missing and kidnapped persons requested form the Office of the War Crime Prosecutor to find and bring perpetrators to justice and recalled the information from media that an Albanian is willing to show a location where missing Serbs have been buried.

Spasic went on to say that everyone has ignored Serbian victims and added that not a single Albanian has been held responsible for war crimes.

Verica Tomanovic from the Association said that they were told that Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor will work intensively in processing the war crimes cases, however the special court for the war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army will do most of the work with that regard.
