Newly appointed Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Serbia Lazar Mirkić yesterday stated that principle of respect of sovereignty and territorial integrity is very important for his country, and that Bosnia and Herzegovina didn’t recognize Kosovo because it considers it to be Serbia’s internal matter.
Special and parallel connections that Serbia has with the Republic of Srpska are not an obstacle for cooperation between Sarajevo and Belgrade, instead it is the way forward for improving relations between two states, even more since Serbia has offered the same relations and to Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressed Mirkić on the occasion of handing over his credentials to the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić.
