After representatives of the Serbian list sent a joint statement, in which they demanded immediate withdrawal of Aleksandar Jablanović from all functions (which was supported by the Serbian government) some analysts said that this actually indicate division within the Serbian list.

Momcilo Trajkovic from the Serbian National Forum believes that dismissal of Jablanović as president of the Serbian list is not surprising and that it means the division within this list.

According to the former deputy of Return Coalition in the Assembly of Kosovo, Ljubomir Stanojković, the division within the Serbian list, was caused by favouring certain parts of Kosovo where Serbs are the majority population. “For Djuric Strpce and Brezovica are in the first place, while for Vulin in the first place is north. I think that only now the division will happen, because cake that represents the government of the Republic of Kosovo appears to be too sweet. The fight will be fierce,” said Stanojković.

President of the Serbian Resistance Movement in Kosovo Ranđel Nojkic told Radio Free Europe that the latest controversy and disagreement shows that there are many disagreements within the Serbian list. As he pointed out, the disagreements were carefully concealed, and only now they became obvious. It is not only about Aleksandar Jablanović, but also about Aleksandar Vulin, given that the Jablanović is Vulin’s man.
