Head of the Parliamentary Commission for supervision of Kosovo’s Intelligence Agency (KIA), Haxhi Shala, said that information that Serbia is tapping Kosovo institutions and security bodies of Kosovo, is true.
According to him, this tapping is being made possible by the northern part of Kosovo, adding that institutions should remove their antennas there. Shala made these statements after the meeting of this commission explaining that he has clarified this issue with members of the commission. The commission also established a new group which will supervise implementation of the Law for clarification of information and security verification. Shala explained that these two Laws have been problematic to implement and added that the Commission undertook this initiative being that amendment of the Law for security verification which would make this department independent from KIA, was not reached during the first six months.
