The leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has issued today a press release regarding the latest objections of the opposition towards the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities and demarcation of the border with Montenegro.

PDK leadership expresses concern regarding the events such as that of last night’s protest, considering them not democratic and very violent, which are according to this party done only for political purposes.

“PDK especially concludes that limitation of the normal work of the democratic institutions and use of violence in these institutions as well as outside of them, as it happened last night, do not coincide with political actions that should be used in a democratic state, towards the democratic and state institutions,” stresses the press release.

“PDK leadership calls on all political parties and individuals to respect order and democratic values, institutions, as well as the Law and Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.”

PDK claims that it will engage on defense of these values which guarantee functioning of a democratic and legal state with the vision of EU integration and partnership with the democratic world.

“PDK leadership supports the actions of the PDK Parliamentary Group and the President of the Assembly, to avoid conflict and anarchy, and it supports their determination to continue the normal work of the Assembly, endorsement of laws which serve the citizens of our country,” stresses this press release.
