“We can continue lying to ourselves but truth be told there is no way not to conclude that the divisive and polarizing situation among the political parties at the Assembly is quite artificial,” the KTV’s editor-in-chief Adriatik Kelmendi begins his weekly column. Kelmendi claims he doesn’t believe that the government representatives love Kosovo more than the members of the opposition and vice-versa. Both the government and opposition parties have people who have given a valuable contribution to Kosovo but at the same time, both sides have also people who try to gain from every situation, the so-called political chameleons. Similarly, both sides have a comparatively undemocratic way of isolating, ignoring or even lynching people who think differently. For these and other reasons, the people of Kosovo are not feeling what the parties want them to feel and while there were instances when the people were confused they have never been deceived.
