Among 18 states that currently do not have voting rights in UNESCO because of unpaid dues, nine have not recognized Kosovo. In case they don’t regain the right to vote till 5 November, when will be held the General Conference, we will not be able to count on their support!

As Novosti learned, on the list of debtors are also our allies in a diplomatic battle for Kosovo, Brazil and Iran, which are consistent with the view that Kosovo is part of Serbia. However, it is believed that they will regulate their debts, due to the fact that their intention is to be in the Executive Board of UNESCO. In that situation are also Venezuela, Israel, Zambia …The right to vote in this organization, lose the countries, which don’t pay membership dues for two years.

“The government plans to launch a large internet campaign, so that facts about Kosovo reach the international public. It is not enough that people are doing it spontaneously, but the state must stand after it,” said yesterday Marko Djuric, director of the Office for Kosovo. He said that the Pristina side has “paid internet fighters” who modify the historical truth. If Belgrade would organize volunteers and activists, they would offer other people to learn more about our heritage, spirituality and the truth about events in Kosovo. It will be done according to the model of internet-campaign of Israel and other countries with similar problems.
