Serbian MPs in the Kosovo Assembly agreed that sending the agreement about the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities to the Constitutional Court would be a bad move, because it would not have affect on the opposition to stop blockade of the parliament.

The MPs of the Serbian List sought postponement of the meeting with the President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, because, according to the president of the Serbian List, Slavko Simic, she already decided to send the agreement, without prior consultations with them. Simic added that he will once more request from the President not to send the agreement, saying that there is a possibility that a meeting will be held on Tuesday.

Nenad Rasic from the Progressive Democratic Party does not see a reason for this move of the President. “We only prolong the agony, because the Constitutional Court would need at least three months to analyse such document. Also, we should consider delay due to the holidays during Christmas and New Year. This means that the conclusion of the Constitutional Court would not be over before February,” said Rasic.
