Head of the Pec District Vinka Radosavljevic said that the international community should do everything to protect Serbs living in the region of Pec, in Kosovo. Radosavljevic strongly condemned the burning of another Serbian house in village Siga, near Pec, which is owned by a Serb, pointing out that no one was injured only thanks to the fact that no one was in the house. “I call on the international community to give us the answer whether the Serbs have the right to live in their homes in Metohija, or the pressure is a sign that Serbs should go from this area,” said Head of the Pec District.
This is the second case of burning the house of Serbs in Metohija in the past month, reports Radio Gorazdevac, reminding that previously was burned the house of Ljuba Ivanovic, which is located 50 meters from the house of Jasovic family.
Serbs living in the village are scared for their safety and request from competent institutions to improve the security situation.
