At an extraordinary session on Friday Dečani/Deçan Municipality supported, with maximum votes, a declaration against the creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities. At the same session, local councilors rejected the agreement on demarcation with Montenegro.
Dečani/Deçan Municipality thus became the third municipality after Đeneral Janković/Hani Elezit and Mališevo/Mališevë that voted against those two agreements and requested from the Kosovo government to abolish these two agreements, which is also requested by Kosovo opposition that is protesting last couple months by using violence on the streets and tear gas in the assembly hall in the parliament building.
