Several news sites report that Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, has travelled to Brussels where he will meet with leaders of the European Union. A press release issued by Mustafa’s office notes: “During his stay in Brussels, Prime Minister Mustafa, accompanied by First Deputy Prime Minister, also Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hashim Thaçi and the Minister of European Integration, Bekim Çollaku will meet with President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, High Commissioner of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / vice President of the EC, Federica Mogherini, EU Commissioner, Dimitris Avramopoulos, MEPs Ulrike Lunacek, Elmar Brok and Tonino Picula, and other senior officials of the EU and business representatives. During the meeting, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa will seek the EU support mechanisms for Kosovo towards integration process, visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo, as well as greater support of the EU for the overall development of Kosovo. Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and the Government delegation of Kosovo also will disclose the progress that is being achieved in Kosovo, the undertaken reforms and full orientation of the institutions and the citizens of Kosovo to European integration”.
