The chairperson of the Serbian List Slavko Simic condemned yesterday’s violence in the Kosovo parliament and called MPs from the opposition parties to turn toward democracy. “There is a tendency for this to turn into a serious institutional violence. We only want optimal conditions to be provided for sessions and that lives of MPs are not jeopardized,” said Simic to RTV Kim, and added that yesterday’s situation inside and outside of the parliament was catastrophic.

Reflecting on the suspension of the agreement on creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities, Simic said that decision of the Constitutional Court can influence the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. “Decision of the Constitutional Court on suspension of the Agreement on the Community of Serb municipalities, until final decision is made , can cause huge consequences on the future flow of the Brussels dialogue and all processes that have been realized in last two years,” said Simic.
