Kosovo Minister without portfolio, Edita Tahiri, told Tribuna Channel that the government of Kosovo is preparing a special project in regards to the license plates of the vehicles entering from Serbia. In this case, according to her, besides reciprocity the government is determined to solve two other problems. “We are working on three issues: the first one has to do with reciprocity, second one has to do with the removal of illegal plates that are still being used especially in northern Mitrovica, and the third issue has to do with unregistered vehicles. In Kosovo there are many unregistered vehicles that could make up to 10% of the total number of vehicles. So we are preparing a special project for these three issues,” Tahiri said. She didn’t give any specific dates on when this project is going to be ready for implementation.
