It is very important that Albanians in Kosovo and Serbs in Serbia have it clear that agreements reached in Brussels are fully harmonized with the Kosovo Constitution, said Kosovo Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Petrit Selimi, and added that he also expects the latest agreement referring to the Association/Community of Serb municipalities to be implemented, too.

When asked what would be the destiny of the A/CSM and whether it would be created despite ongoing protests of the opposition, Selimi said that he expects implementation of all agreements and that one on A/CSM has actually reinforced certain parts of the Ahtisaari’s plan. “Kosovo Albanians have accepted Ahtisaari’s plan which provides that municipalities can form associations, and this is in line with the Kosovo Constitutions,” said Selimi.
