The leader of Vetevendosje Movement, Visar Ymeri, wrote on his Facebook page about the arrests of Vetevenodsje activists. “Isa Mustafa and Hashim Thaci through Skender Hyseni, are terrorizing Pristina. A day does not pass without arresting Vetevendosje activists,” wrote Ymeri. He added that they use the police to stop and identify people at any place, with or without reason. “This is how the government is trying to provoke the situation and to scare the citizen, who clearly has a deep rejection toward their state-ruining agreements (Zajednica) and which reduce the territory (demarcation agreement with Montenegro).

“At the time when European leaders appeal to people not to be afraid and to continue with their usual economic, social, cultural and political activities – our leaders use any chance to embed panic, because they want to oppress democracy and suspend opposition activity.

This is all done against the manifestation of 28 November and against the citizen. Because they do not want active citizens-people who think politically and who do not allow degradation of the state, and desecration of identity. They want dependents who follow them blindly, tax-payers who enable their private enrichment, clients whom they blackmail and trade with them. They do not want to have opposition at all, not even when we make it clear that our activity will be completely peaceful.

Let us show on 28 November that these policies of intimidation and blackmail do not succeed. Let us show to them that we do not allow destruction of our state and desecration of our dignity. Let us tell them that we are against these agreements, that these agreements will not implement. Let us show to them that we are neither their dependents, nor clients or tools. Let us tell them that we are free citizens,” wrote Ymeri.
