President of the Serbian list Slavko Simic expressed hope that the announced protest of Kosovo’s opposition would not be violent and that the Serbs will not be collateral damage.

It is evident that in Kosovo there are structures that want to destabilize the situation, I still hope that it is the conflict between government and opposition, and we support everyone’s democratic right to protest in a peaceful and dignified manner and express their dissatisfaction.

At the same time we hope that there will be no incidents during the Kosovo opposition protests, that have been announced for November 28 and that no one will point the finger at Serbian community, says Simic.

“We hope that the Serbs will not be collateral damage of these demonstrations, as it happened during some of the earlier outbursts of discontent in Kosovo,” Simic said.
