Kosovo Assembly deputy from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Latif Gashi, who was sentenced a few days ago by the Appellate Court with six years of prison, addressed today the Assembly Chairmanship with a letter, where he informs his resignation from the position of Kosovo Assembly deputy. Gashi considers that the verdict of the Court of Appeals is unjust; however he added that “for the sake of the interest of our country, for the sake of the political processes that the Republic of Kosovo is going through, I Latif Gashi, am resigning from the position of the deputy of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.”
