Unnamed sources told the news site that a brawl broke out in Mitrovica North today between members of the Kosovo Police and the so-called Civil Protection after police towed away a vehicle that was inappropriately parked. The source said: “the vehicle that was towed away by Kosovo Police belongs to Danilo Delibasic, an assistant to the chief of the Civil Protection, Stevo Pavicevic. After learning that police were towing away his car, Delibasic accompanied by several members of his organization went to the site and attacked a police officer, Ljubinko Jevtic. They also insulted the police officer and forced him to bring back the car”. The news site also reports that there was no reaction by heads of Kosovo Police in the north, “because they don’t want to start a conflict with Danilo Delibasic and the others”.
