European Union Special Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar, appealed once more on the opposition parties to accept the political dialogue. “We hope that the Assembly will soon start to function normally. Our position is clear – the violence as a political tool is not acceptable,” said Zbogar. He believes that the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM) will be formed, but that it is required the opinion of the Constitutional Court.
Zbogar stressed that dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is of great importance when it comes to the process of integration of the Serbian community into the Kosovo system. “The purpose of dialogue is to normalize relations, not only between Kosovo and Serbia, but also between the north and south, between Albanians and Serbs. I think that is the purpose of this dialogue,.. the integration should happen in a way that the Serbs have enough guarantees and to feel comfortable in these processes. It is a process that will take some time and at each stage, we must ensure that all parties feel comfortable and satisfying,” stated Zbogar.
