Maric told reporters in Belgrade, after a meeting of the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric with the political representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo, that in the coming period, he expects the decision and that he sees no reason why this should not be done in the next two to three weeks.
“If establishment of the ZSO goes without direct communication with the Serbs, and with the Serbian government, they can take home this document, we do not need, and we will have an answer that the ZSO will be established in the manner that was agreed,” said Maric.
Maric said that while there is no Statute, nobody has the right to restrict what was agreed, and that the Statute should be done in a way that was agreed on 25 August this year.
