Kosovo Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Arban Abrashi, together with British Ambassador to Kosovo Ruairi O’Conell and UNDP Resident Representative, Andrew Russell, signed an agreement yesterday to subsidize salaries for 130 jobs. Abrashi said that it remains a priority for his ministry to create new jobs and train young people to prepare them for the job market. Russell stressed the need to create a better job market in Kosovo and a stable economy. “Kosovo youth has a huge capacity to be used for economic growth and we want to be part of this,” Russell said, adding that the partnership with the Ministry of Labour has been a successful one and now we are waiting to see the results.
