Kosovo Minister for Return and Communities Dalibor Jevtic stated today in Prizren that the return of displaced to Kosovo is possible and that seven more houses will be constructed in the town for returnees.
“We have managed to construct 19 houses so far, we are planning seven more in the course of this year, for 90 persons who have returned or are in the process of returning,” said Jevtic and added that this figure shows that more people should return to Kosovo in the future. He highlighted the problem of the illegal sale of Serbian properties but also the issue of Serbs selling their property. He underlined that those who haven’t sold their properties and whose homes are currently being reconstructed are a living example that, after 16 years, return is still possible.
