“Serbia expects that Brussels press Pristina over the formation of Association / Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) in the southern province. The Kosovo authorities again want to extend the deadlines,” said Milovan Drecun, the Head of the Serbian Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo.
Assessing the last round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina, after which were again heard different interpretations on the A/CSM, Drecun stated that Kosovo PM Isa Mustafa is probably again trying to “trade” with the EU: “That’s how it was in the case when Kosovo should receive SAA. Every situation is used to postpone adoption of the statute on A/CSM, indefinitely. Federica Mogherini made clear that Pristina must fulfill the obligations as they were agreed. In opposite case, the power of the EU will be called into question.”
