In his latest report on Kosovo United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has expressed concerns about the violence staged by Kosovo opposition parties and says that such developments have contributed to delays in some aspects of the implementation of agreements between Belgrade and Pristina, particularly with regard to the creation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities (A/CSM).

Ban Ki-moon stressed that this refers to agreements reached between April 2013 and August 2015 and said that agreements referring to the creation of the A/CSM in Kosovo have not been implemented within the specified time frame. Ban Ki-moon also praised the commitment of both Belgrade and Pristina, and urged them to continue with the high-level dialogue meetings facilitated by the EU.

The report prepared by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon covering the period from 16 October 2015 to 15 January 2016 will be discussed later this month at the UN Security Council.
