Today Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, criticized the actions and violence exercised during protests by opposition parties. Thaci also spoke about the presidential elections, and promised that the elections will begin, in line with the Constitution.
However, according to Thaci, actions of the opposition are not constitutional. He even called them illegal and not transparent. “The process cannot be stopped by these angry reactions because the causes and methods of the opposition are wrong. These methods and the violence exercised may be helping the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), but they don’t benefit the State. In two days, we can gather one million people in the squares of Kosovo and we will not withdraw in the face of anyone’s blackmail,” Thaci said.
