Kosovo opposition parties are confident that the anti-government protest scheduled for 17 February will be the biggest yet. The opposition bloc is already meeting citizens from different municipalities to garner support for the upcoming protest. Adonis Tahiri from Vetevendosje said the united opposition continues to demand the annulment of the agreement with Serbia on the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities and the border demarcation with Montenegro. He said that the current government of Kosovo is counting the days left in power and Prime Minister Isa Mustafa is aware of the damage he has caused in Kosovo. “He is therefore panicking,” said Tahiri. Alban Dermaku from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) said they firmly believe that the upcoming protest will be bigger than the last one on 9 January. He said the protest will send a clear message that the people of Kosovo will not tolerate a government that undermines the constitution and the territorial integrity of Kosovo.
