According to the news site, the three opposition parties – the Vetevendosje Movement, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), are planning to set up tents on Pristina’s main square in an attempt to prevent Hashim Thaci’s election as President of Kosovo. Unnamed sources told the news site that protesters will stay on the main square until 7 March, the last deadline for presidential elections after which the country would immediately have to hold early elections. Representatives of opposition parties meanwhile did not want to comment much on their course of action. AAK’s Ahmet Isufi said: “As a joint opposition we will use all means to prevent the sessions of the Assembly”. Asked if the opposition plans to set up tents, Isufi said, “we are still discussing our course of action”. Sources from the opposition parties told Pristina-based news agency Kosovapress: “there will be changes in the opposition against the government and the two agreements. Around the middle of this week, the opposition will launch a non-stop protest during which protesters will remain in front of the government building day and night”. The same sources said the protest will be peaceful.

Po ashtu, do të jetë edhe një foltore nga ku njerëzit mund të marrin fjalën dhe t’u drejtohen të pranishmëve dhe do të ketë edhe të tjera aktivitete.
Protestuesit do të vendosin tenda në shesh, ku do të qëndrojnë edhe gjatë natës.
“Ky do të jetë një lloj aktivizimi politik, kulturor dhe artistik, qëllimi i secilit do të jetë që të përcillet mesazhi i qytetarëve në mënyrë që të ndërmerret diçka për tejkalimin e situatës”, thanë burimet nga opozita.
