Vetevendosje MP Ilir Deda said that Hashim Thaci’s election to the post of Kosovo president has only deepened the current political crisis in Kosovo. He said Thaci’s election will be brought before the Constitutional Court. “Let’s wait and see how this case goes and what political consequences it will produce. Nevertheless, it is clear that the most non-unifying and divisive man in Kosovo politics is at the head of the state,” said Deda. He added that the solution to getting out of the political crisis is to announce extraordinary elections and undertake a number of political steps to avoid such situations in the future.
