The Office of the Prime Minister confirmed that Valon Murtezaj has been nominated for the position of Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs. “The decision for Murtezaj’s nomination has already been made and he will start work at the Ministry this week,” according to a statement by the Office of the Prime Minister.
Valon Murtezaj said in several public appearances that he is a university professor in Paris, where he teaches subjects related to diplomacy and negotiation.
So far, Murtezaj has worked as political adviser for foreign affairs at the Office of the Prime Minister. He comes from the Democratic League of Kosovo.
