The government of Kosovo issued a press release where it stresses that violent and illegal actions over citizens, public or private property, Kosovar or foreign businesses, for political profit, are unacceptable. “Such violent acts in contradiction with any democratic value cannot be used as means of political propaganda, no matter explanations or justifications given for them.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo appeals to the political parties and certain individuals who induce and commit such low actions, to give up illegal and irrational actions and contribute to the development and democratic process and the Euro-Atlantic road of Kosovo,” is written in the press release.
On Thursday members of Vetevendosje movement overturned a truck with Serbian goods as a sign of protest for Serbia’s returning Albanian books dedicated for Albanians students in Presevo Valley. The government of Kosovo did not make any announcement on the issue.
